Hi, Im Jeanmarie Weatherhead (Cjw) artist born in Guatemala, raised and living in T’karonto. My artwork is the disasters around the globe that are pressing to our civilization and should act accordingly to reduce climate crisis, natural disasters, and another pandemic. Regardless of the protesting’s. Social media gives us access to others all over the world, so we can come together and make a change and to fight for what we believe in and support black & indigenous lives it’s 21st century things need to change. With my thought process for my works is just the beginning of a surreal reality in my mind and my own perspective in the world. The most used resources I listen to is the radio and the news, books and personal insights for everyday life. This pandemic has charged everyone and we can get back to working together supporting each one to move forward.
